The Goal: to take and post at least one picture each day for the entire year that I'm 27.

I find that I rush through the day, to rush through the week, to get to the weekend...just to find that an entire year goes by in the blink of an eye. So, on the eve of my last day as a 26 year old I decided to make a change. I challenged myself to take the time each day and find at least one moment worth remembering, hoping that in this way I will learn to live each day for what it is. For regardless of how uniform the days may feel at a glace each one is truly unique and worth cherishing.

Day 294 - Plan B

This was Plan B...on so many levels

All week I had the itch to bake...and I knew exactly what I wanted to make
I wanted strawberry mini cupcakes with lemon frosting...a dessert take on strawberry lemonade
So Thursday night before our shows started Corey and I ran out to the store to get the good
But apparently I was mistaken and there is no such thing as ready-made lemon frosting
So I thought...well maybe we'll make lemon cake with strawberry frosting...
Yeah there was no ready-made lemon cake either

I know the obvious solution is to make something from scratch...
But that's not the type of "baking'' I was in the mood for
So I just gave up and went with plan B
Strawberry cake half with chocolate frosting, half with cream cheese frosting
And although it wasn't what I was craving...they are still pretty good

Oh and this is also "Plan B" because this was supposed to be my Thursday post...
