The Goal: to take and post at least one picture each day for the entire year that I'm 27.

I find that I rush through the day, to rush through the week, to get to the weekend...just to find that an entire year goes by in the blink of an eye. So, on the eve of my last day as a 26 year old I decided to make a change. I challenged myself to take the time each day and find at least one moment worth remembering, hoping that in this way I will learn to live each day for what it is. For regardless of how uniform the days may feel at a glace each one is truly unique and worth cherishing.

Day 281 - Pre-birthday

There is a lot of celebration to blog...
But for now I am just going to give you a teaser
(Because let's face it; it's way past my bed time - even for a weekend!)

More of Bob's birthday extravaganza to come tomorrow (on his actual birthday)

Day 280 - On the edge

The weekend brings nothing but excitement...

So to wrap up my Friday at work I finally got to open a new package of 3-Form samples
This stuff is amazing...It's resin panels, my favorite of which have organic materials sandwiched in them
One of the sample I got today had river rock in it - so beautiful
My favorite part is getting to see and feel the rock that has been cut at the edges

Day 279 - The count down begins...

Look at what's waiting for me back at work...

I have been going nuts working crazy over time to get two big projects out the door
By the "end of day" Friday (which means before I can go home (probably 8pm)...not 5:00pm)
Anyway, I was so worked up about tomorrow's work, I forgot all about THE ROYAL WEDDING!!!

I know right!?!?!? But don't worry, thanks to Steve we are all set up to record the whole thing
(We even had to clean out our dvr to make room for the entire 6 hour program)
The hardest part was picking whether to record CNN or BBC America's coverage
We went with CNN...and I really hope we (I) made a good choice

If only I was still in college and could just pull an all nighter and watch the whole thing live
Crazy thing is that we will start recording at 1am and will still be recording when I leave for work at 6:30!
Stupid work...always getting in the way of my joy!

Day 277 - A new home

My parent's are on their way back to "the old house" (the Maricopa house)
To get their 3rd commercial moving truck load full of furniture to take to the new house
Yikes! That's a long day!!! Good work mom and dad

And speaking of new homes...we are welcoming a new addition to our home
Adrienne gifted me her very prized antique chandelier last weekend
(It wasn't able to make the move with her to the east coast)
Anyway, it is going to need a lot of work, cleaning, and love
But I am excited to take on the task and give this little guy a great home to live in

Day 271 - Mastering the master bathroom

I was just gong to tidy up a bit for when Anne and Jesse stay at our place and watch the dogs
But that turned into a full attack on our bathroom closet and medicine cabinet

The cabinet is missing it's shelves (foreclosure) so I have to keep it simple...
Proactive, airbrush foundation, deodorant, face lotion, tooth paste and tooth brush - done!

And the closet...
Full of extra of everything (yeah we are always over prepared)
I want to eventually get this thing looking amazing but right now organized will do!
