The Goal: to take and post at least one picture each day for the entire year that I'm 27.

I find that I rush through the day, to rush through the week, to get to the weekend...just to find that an entire year goes by in the blink of an eye. So, on the eve of my last day as a 26 year old I decided to make a change. I challenged myself to take the time each day and find at least one moment worth remembering, hoping that in this way I will learn to live each day for what it is. For regardless of how uniform the days may feel at a glace each one is truly unique and worth cherishing.

Day 108 - Close but not quite...

I have two mauve wing back chairs in my kitchen breakfast bay
I wanted to get them reupholstered in a white ostrich leather...but that's just not going to happen
Or at least not right now any way...so the solution: get slipcovers

But that hasn't been as easy as I had hoped
I own a white cover (below on the right) it isn't made for a wing back chair but I didn't mind the draped look
I love the white...but it doesn't have a match and I can't find another one like it

So I found new slipcovers (below on the left) from Overstock
It's actually made for a wing back chair and has a more fitted slim look...
Oh and because it's new I was able to buy two and have a matching pair...so what's the down side?
The picture online made it look like it was white...the name was "natural" (so I assumed off-white)
And yet it's the exact color of my walls...Desert Beige...a very, very tan color

So what do I do? Keep searching? Just go with the tan? Get crazy and try to make my own slipcovers?
Steve says I should bleach the new tan cover white - I might try it - we'll see
