What's black and white and read red all over...
All of the work on my plate today (and yes it's as bad as it looks)
At work when a set of (construction) drawings are QC'ed (quality checked) we have a term for when
The red pen hits the paper...it's called bleeding...and this set pretty much bled out
Luckily this wasn't work I did (or anyone in our office) because it hurts pretty bad when a sheet you created
Comes back like this - No, this is a project we inherited and are doing some reworking to
Never the less, through a stroke of really bad luck, picking up these red lines did fall into my lap today
Earlier this week I worked really hard to get the perfect Friday lined up...
All I had on my schedule for Friday (today) was making interior finish boards and rendering elevations
I was literally going to be in the break room/ library all day coloring and gluing stuff while eating
Donuts (a Friday staple) and California rolls, chips, and guacamole (left over from a work party Thursday)
It was going to be the best work day ever...but then Thursday at 4:50 everything changed
And so I spent all day trying to decipher crammed, bleeding plans for a building I know nothing about, on a Project I've never worked on, who's chief architect was out of town and project manager was in San Jose,
Using another firm's line weights and layers (drawing organization)
It wasn't the worst day at work...but let's just say it wasn't the perfect Friday
3-day weekend here I come!!!
