The Goal: to take and post at least one picture each day for the entire year that I'm 27.

I find that I rush through the day, to rush through the week, to get to the weekend...just to find that an entire year goes by in the blink of an eye. So, on the eve of my last day as a 26 year old I decided to make a change. I challenged myself to take the time each day and find at least one moment worth remembering, hoping that in this way I will learn to live each day for what it is. For regardless of how uniform the days may feel at a glace each one is truly unique and worth cherishing.

Day 20 - This Seat's Taken

One of these is not like the other...

But they are all my newest craigslist finds.
There are four antique side chairs for our dining room and one bent wood rocking chair.
Oh the plans I have....
Now if only it wasn't going to be 114 degrees out tomorrow.
I guess the renovations will have to wait for fall.

At least the rocking chair is in good enough shape to live in the house until then...

    Oh my gosh, that looks EXACTLY like the one your dad got me when I was pregnant with Kipp. I have such vivid memories of rocking you and him in that chair. Like it was just yesterday. I feel so foolish now for ever getting rid of it. What was I thinking? Wouldn't it be amazing if this actually was the "one"-finding its way home again. I wish that were true!

    Haha, why do you think I bought it!
    I have been searching for this rocking chair for months now...it's all part of my: getting ready, to start thinking about, starting to try for a baby. There are a few other to-do's on the list but this was "the big one"
