The Goal: to take and post at least one picture each day for the entire year that I'm 27.

I find that I rush through the day, to rush through the week, to get to the weekend...just to find that an entire year goes by in the blink of an eye. So, on the eve of my last day as a 26 year old I decided to make a change. I challenged myself to take the time each day and find at least one moment worth remembering, hoping that in this way I will learn to live each day for what it is. For regardless of how uniform the days may feel at a glace each one is truly unique and worth cherishing.

Day 242 - Done, done, done!

While we are on the subject of projects that have been finished...
I need to brag about how amazing my husband Steve is...and how he finished my favorite "to-do" today
I knew the first time we saw our house that the stair handrail had to be black
And a little after a year I delved into the project (and did the smallest rail)
After not touching any of the other rails for a few weeks Steve stepped in
And sanded and painted all of the other rails until the whole thing was done!
And I am so happy!!!

And ta-da...the super amazing...absolutely wonderful AFTER!!!





Even Wes got in on the action...because we all love how good thing place is looking!!!

    They do look amazing! Good job, Steve!!! I know a really nice mother-in-law that has a whole stairway you could do! Haha, I am just kidding, sort of, no really, I am kidding. But.....
