The Goal: to take and post at least one picture each day for the entire year that I'm 27.

I find that I rush through the day, to rush through the week, to get to the weekend...just to find that an entire year goes by in the blink of an eye. So, on the eve of my last day as a 26 year old I decided to make a change. I challenged myself to take the time each day and find at least one moment worth remembering, hoping that in this way I will learn to live each day for what it is. For regardless of how uniform the days may feel at a glace each one is truly unique and worth cherishing.

Day 170 - Blank Slate

I know you've seen my fridge calender before...but have you ever seen it so clean
Everyone talks about, "A New Year; A New Start"...but this is no blank slate
We don't have a relaxing, non eventful January ahead...no we just finally ran out of marker juice!

You would think a calender overflowing with notes, bills and "to-do"s would be stressful...
And a blank calender would be calming...but I have found it's has the opposite effect!
I freak out every time I see it all empty with none of my stuff written down...
like if it's not written down, I can't control it, I can't conquer it
I look at it and think, "What am I forgetting today?"

I miss my over flowing, messy, crazy slate
